“How To Hide Those “Ugly” Affiliate Links”
You’ve probably heard about people stealing your commissions when you promote affiliate products with the regular affiliate link. But how do you do it?
There are many ways to accomplish this – some free, some not. There are also a lot of membership sites that charge a monthly fee to do this. These sites also offer several other services like tracking. All of these methods work, and it’s just up to you to pick what works best for you.
Recently I joined one of Liz Tomey’s coaching programs, and she showed us a simple little PHP script that you can use to disguise your links and make them look more professional.
Unfortunately, when I was first learning to use it, I either couldn’t remember where I saved it, or I kept messing it up and would have to ask for it again.
So I decided to make a Link Disguiser Kit for people new to this method. I made a Workbook with written instructions, a Worksheet that can be used over and over again, and a Video that allows you to watch over my shoulder as I go through the process.
There is one catch to this method. You must have your own domain name and a web hosting account somewhere that allows you to access your website. This is usually done through the “cPanel”.
Anyway, I decided to post the video here. You can watch it and learn exactly how to do this. Have fun! And I hope I’m able to teach you a neat little trick to add to your arsenal of “techie tools”.
If you like the video and would like to get the whole Kit, you can download it here: “Link Disguiser Kit”
