I don’t know why it took me so long to start a HubPage, but I finally did it today.

Every marketer I know has advised me to do this because it adds a great link to your main website or blog, and because you can gain a lot of credibility if you post good articles. Don’t just put “junk” on your HubPage. Add quality content that will attract other members, and help you gain a lot of attention.

This business is all about traffic, and you need to be relentless when it comes to building backlinks and branding yourself. HubPages is a great opportunity to put another notch in your belt. 

Right now, mine is not much, but I’m going to make an effort to add content on a regular basis. So don’t be like me and put this off. Go on over there to see mine, and then create your very own and spread a little “HubLove” – like they say.

Oh. I almost forgot. Similar to Squidoo, you can even earn money when people click on ads on your HubPage. If yours becomes popular, who knows? KaChing! KaChing!

3. Participate in LinkedIn.com and similar social networks

4. Create your own blog at blogger.com. Blogging  is a powerful and effective way to get free  traffic from search engines, RSS feeds, other blogs, blog directories .. and more!

5. Exchange reciprocal links with other related  sites in your niche.

6. Purchase ad spots or solo email ads in  popular newsletters or ezines from

7. Use OnlyWire.com to automate your social  bookmarking and automatically generate  backlinks and traffic

8. Submit articles to trade magazines with a  link to your site in your bio

9. Promote your website on the “Thank you” page  of other sales sites related to your niche.  Work out a mutually beneficial commission  with the site owners.

10. Participate in online forum conversations that  are related to your product, and insert your  site link into the signature area.

Since today is my birthday, and my brother’s birthday is Tuesday, we are going to celebrate by watching the Superbowl and devouring nachos at my brother’s house.
